The ACLU of Kansas has signed onto an amicus brief filed by the National Women's Law Center on behalf of two former K-State students in a Title IX case against Kansas State University.

Tessa Farmer and Sara Weckhorst were raped by the same student in two separate incidents at a fraternity house off of K-State's campus in 2014 and 2015. Both women reported their rape to university officials, who declined to investigate either case. The university's failure to do so is in direct violation of Title IX, which protects students against sexual violence and harassment.
