Born and raised in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Logan moved to Larned, KS when he was fifteen. He attended Larned High School and lived with his mother and grandfather, a lifelong Kansas farmer. Logan graduated from Bethel College where he played football and earned a bachelor’s degree in communication arts and history and political science.

After getting his start in Wichita politics as Deputy Campaign Manager for former Mayor Brandon Whipple, Logan moved to Topeka to serve as Legislative Director for the Kansas House Democrats and House Minority Leader Vic Miller. In addition to his legislative work, in his role as Deputy Political Director, Logan helped recruit a record number of female and minority candidates and helped break the fundraising record to support Democratic candidates for the Kansas House of Representatives. In 2025, Logan continued his work with the Kansas House Democrats under new leadership in the legislature and created and launched a statewide tour on behalf of Kansans for a Democratic House. During his time with the House Democrats and as a political consultant, Logan worked with over 100 municipal and state legislative candidates across Kansas.

Logan joined the ACLU as Director of Policy and Research in July of 2025.
