SUPPORT FOR HB2686 - Removing felony violation of possession of marijuana and releasing people currently in prison for such violations
This bill is a nod to addressing sentencing proportionality and racial disparities in the enforcement of marijuana arrests, and it would update the law to align more closely with the wishes of Kansans.
