ACLU Testimony - SB 264
The ACLU of Kansas strongly supports SB 264. SB 264 would amend existing law to ensure that all registered voters, including those unable to sign for reason of disability, are able to cast a ballot.

ACLU Testimony – Private Expansion of Lansing Correctional Facility
Expanding the private correctional facility at Lansing would lead to expensive over-incarceration with little oversight. Therefore, we oppose this unnecessary privatization plan.

ACLU Testimony – Ranked Choice Voting
Despite the fact that we support the goals of ranked choice voting, there are more effective ways to encourage citizen participation and strengthen our elections. Therefore, we are neutral on ranked choice voting in Kansas.
