Given the dubious intent of this bill, the shoddy scientific claims behind it, and the interference into the doctor/patient relationship, we urge you not to pass HB 2274, and to oppose any bills of this kind which use unsubstantiated science to manipulate legislation.

ACLU Testimony - SB 421

SB 421 would require boards and commissions that grant occupational licenses to specify any criminal history that would disqualify a candidate, and ensure that any prior criminal record could not be used to disqualify the candidate after five years.
