Bio

Lindsay is the Policy Manager for the ACLU of Kansas. She is responsible for analyzing and developing state and local policies as well as conducting policy and data research on the position issue portfolios to further the initiative to protect constitutional rights in the state of Kansas.

Lindsay graduated in 2023 from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s in social justice advocacy with a community service track, and a master’s in political science. Prior to working for the ACLU, Lindsay served as the Research Intern with Return My Vote, which worked to restore voting rights to formally incarcerated individuals in the state of Alabama. While at Return My Vote, Lindsay played a critical role in analyzing voter registries and county data to decipher multiple campaign strategies, while also visiting maximum security prisons leading workshops for individuals up for release on the importance of reclaiming their right to vote.

Lindsay’s primary research interests include prison policy reform, capital punishment, and the language nuances of policies. Raised in KC, Lindsay’s love for her home state fuels her passion for justice in her community, as well as gives her hope for an equal and just future for the state of Kansas.
