As part of our commitment to collaboration and building a strong movement for change, the ACLU of Kansas has launched the Marching On Fund. This is a micro-grant initiative designed to support small, grassroots organizations across Kansas that work to promote and advance civil liberties. The fund prioritizes organizations led by and serving impacted people and communities, especially people of color. The program’s goal is to strengthen grassroots leadership, foster community engagement, and encourage collaboration across the broader civil rights movement.

The Marching On fund will provide grants of up to $1,000 to help build capacity for these early-stage groups, who meet the eligibility criteria.
Applications are accepted January–June and reviewed by the Marching On committee in July. An additional round of applications will be accepted August–December and reviewed in January.
