On July 23, the American Civil Liberties Union, ACLU of Kansas, Lambda Legal, National Center for Transgender Equality, and Transcend Legal filed a brief of amici curiae calling on the Tenth Circuit Court to amend parts of its opinion in Lamb v. Norwood.

Moore v. Kobach

On June 19, 2018, the ACLU of Kansas filed a class-action lawsuit against Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach on behalf of three individual plaintiffs, who had their constitutional rights to privacy violated by Sec. Kobach's office through the Crosscheck program.

On March 19, 2018, the ACLU of Kansas filed a complaint against the Spirit Boeing Employees' Association (SBEA) for racial profiling and religious discrimination against Munir Zanial, a dues-paying member of the organization.

Harper v. Andersen

The ACLU of Kansas filed a class-action lawsuit against the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Kansas Division of Health Care Finance, challenging the policy of restricting treatment for Hepatitis C for Medicaid patients.
