Last week, Governor Kelly vetoed three bills after hearing from many of you. These bills attacked trans youth and voting rights.

These vetoes are a big win, but the fight isn’t over. Next week the legislature will try to overturn her vetoes. We strongly believe we have the votes to sustain the Governor’s vetoes.

Look up your legislator. See how they voted below. Tell them to sustain Governor Kelly’s vetoes of these bills.

OPPOSE - HB 2183 is a voter suppression bill meant to intimidate voters. The scary things it alleges to stop, such as discarding or altering ballots, are already illegal. This bill would only reduce and stop legal voting.

OPPOSE - HB 2332 is a blatant power grab, and is an insult to our constitution and the separation of powers. It would give the legislature more power over elections while diminishing executive and judicial powers.

OPPOSE - SB 55 targets trans girls and women for discrimination and would cost the state millions. It is an expensive pro-bullying bill set to hurt Kansas’ kids and businesses.
