To County Election Officials RE: Election Protection in 2024
Ahead of the 2024 primary election, on August 2, the ACLU of Kansas sent every county election office in the state an informational letter about the Kansas Election Protection program. The letter discusses the nonpartisan election hotline and the presence of on-site volunteers for in-person assistance at any particular polling locations.

ELECTION PROTECTION
The ACLU of Kansas runs the Kansas-based statewide, nonpartisan voter assistance program, Election Protection, responding to issues called in to the 866-OUR-VOTE hotline. We've been successfully working with local election officials to make sure voting is as safe and accessible as it should be for every Kansan, but issues at the polls may still pop up, or voters may have questions.
