County Election Officials RE: Election Protection in November General Election 2022
Ahead of the 2022 general election, on October 6, the ACLU of Kansas sent every county election office in the state an informational letter about the Kansas Election Protection program. The letter discusses the nonpartisan election hotline and the presence of on-site volunteers for in-person assistance at any particular polling locations.

Maize voters incorrectly turned away from polls; contact Election Protection Hotline
After numerous voters were incorrectly turned away at the Maize Recreation Center Polling Location prior to the closing of polls and told to go to a different location to vote, the ACLU of Kansas is requesting that those affected immediately contact the 866-OUR-VOTE hotline.
