Nichole joined the ACLU of Kansas in January 2020 as the Central and Western Kansas Field Organizer. Nichole has extensive experience organizing, educating, and training people from underserved and underprivileged communities.

Previously, Nichole worked as racial and economic at Sunflower Community Foundation. She also was a key factor in mobilizing the local community to push back against Westar Energy’s installation of massive electric poles 5 feet away from people’s front doors.

Nichole continues to work to empower and equip people to develop a love for their community, to create a self-sustained and desirable lifestyle, and to be an active part of movement for positive change.  As a mother to a son, she hopes to instill in her community living a debt free life and still being able to give back and build up your community is not only possible, but is the only way to build power for the working poor and other groups of oppressed people.
