Aileen previously served as Director of Policy and External Affairs at the Center for Telehealth and e-Health Law, a Washington, DC, based national telehealth policy nonprofit. In that role, she led the development of CTeL’s advocacy priorities and strategy and educated the telehealth stakeholder community about policy issues pertaining to telehealth and virtual care. Central to this role was bringing together groups with diverse priorities to centralize messaging and government outreach. 

Prior to her work in government relations and stakeholder engagement, Aileen built extensive experience working on candidate and issue campaigns. Highlights include her work as project manager and communications director for the March For Our Lives: 50 Miles More initiative. This march was the genesis of the Future Coalition--a national network and resource for youth-led organizations across the country. 

Aileen is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Botswana ‘12-’14), an alumna of the University of Kansas, and holds a master’s degree in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University. She is a proud daughter of rural Kansas and is committed to centering impacted communities in her work.
